Good Housekeeping/Grey Pride

Am a fan of Sandi Toksvig, so it wasn’t exactly difficult to accept illustrating her monthly column in Good Housekeeping, of which I’m rather a fan of too.

Having been asked so many times how and why I decided to go grey I wrote a short piece, showed it to GH and it happily fitted with an article they were doing and kindly invited me in to be photographed for it. Little did I know how much they were going to spoil me – my hair was coiffed, a make-up artist worked her magic and Geoff Waring, the art director, took my photos after being allowed to rummage through their wardrobe for a top. A hugely fun and delicious lunch followed – happy memories worth going grey for!
